This shield flap design pouch is made of high grade black leather. Features double straps at the back for attachment to the waist-belt. Used by both Union and Confederate forces. Has a shield flap as the name suggests and it’s wool lined. This is an early pattern cap pouch. Approx. dimensions 3-1/2" x 3" x 1-3/4".
