This fine reproduction saber is a faithful copy of ones used. The hand forged blade is British military spec steel that will flex over 20° and return to true. The leather handle is wire wrapped. The brass, 3-branch guard is nicely hand chased and engraved, as is the brass pommel. Blade is beautifully etched with “U.S.,” and “E Pluribus Unum,” along with foliage and military trophies. Steel scabbard has brass throat, rings and drag. Made by Windlass Steelcrafts®. Can be sharpened for additional charge. Also available with custom engraving.

This has been my favorite sword since I was a kid and I just received mine after a short backorder. Well worth the wait!! This saber is excellent. I have had the pleasure and privalege to have examined several originals and this saber is a worthy reproduction. Weight and balance is almost identical to originals I have encountered. The saber is rugged and well made. Excellent quality, the blade is not whippiy or overly stiff as is some lesser blades and the fit and finish is also excellent. Sharpening service is wonderful, my only gripe is that I have to do the false edge myself. You will be highly satisfied with this weapon it's a great piece for reenactment or for actual use and test cutting.
