When I bought this knife I had read the specs stating it was made of 7crmov13 steel not 440C but that was last year.It has a good look and it's very sharp and it would get a 4.5 or maybe a 5 star rating but because it's a liner lock "that will close up on you"I give it a 2.Treat this knife as a standard non-locking pocket knife not a tactical folder or locking of any type because you could get injured.I test all my knives by slapping the spine against a leather bound book and it folded easily "so beware".

I have had a change of heart concerning this knife. The handle is compact, but, workable. The blade is thin at the tip, but, it is plenty strong enough for everyday cutting tasks and the edge retention is GREAT. After loosening the clip's tension by bending it out, it goes in and out of the pocket very nicely. Still don't like how black the scales are, but, one cannot expect to have it all. All in all, this knife is worth 4 stars, IMO.

The last 3/16" of the blade is nearly PAPER THIN. As such, this knife is not suitable for anything other than light cutting. The handle is kind of compact (read: too short) in my large hand and the scales are FAR blacker than the pretty green color of the pictured model. You will have to loosen the tension of the clip to get it out of your pocket. Three stars with conditions. Tempted to give it two stars.
