The Cold Steel Canadian Belt Knife takes inspiration from a 1950's classic. It has all the features that made the original an award-winning, international favorite. Cold Steel's more contemporary version is made out of German 4116 Stainless steel and hollow ground to a razor edge. It will glide through just about any material because its elliptical profile is very efficient at reducing cutting drag.

The Polypropylene handle is equally efficient, fitting snugly in virtually any hand. It's slightly offset in relation to the blade to keep one's fingers safely out of the way. Light and tough enough to endure hard knocks, it will never break or fall apart in the way a traditional wood handle is prone to do.

This 2-ounce blade comes complete with a pouch style black Cor-Ex sheath. It's light, slim and compact enough to carry on your belt or slung from a cord around your neck day in and day out.
  • Overall: 8-1/2"
  • Blade: 4"

If you were licky enough, or old enough, to have one of the originals from the 1950s or early 1960s, you know what a great knife this is. No it will not fight off the zombie death squads or allow you to engage in covert missions. But if you want a practical, easy to use, easy to care for belt knife that is a fantastic bargain, look no further. The elleptical blade slices well, the angled handle saves you wrists, and it is feather light. If you need a good knofe for camp chores or for the galley at the house, buy this blade.

Canadian Belt Knife is about 2/3 the size of the original Russell made in Canada. It is a perfect size for daily carry and far safer to use than a folder. When in a restaurant, it outperforms their steak knives on tough meat without being obvious. The size works perfectly for sitting in the car without interfering with belts.
