This is the first blade I purchased to make my avid bird hunting brother-in- law as a gift back in 2005 I think. I used desert ironwood and solid brass rivets for the handle. The knife took an excellent edge and holds it well. From what I understand it gets some use! The only reason I did not give the blade 5 stars is the price. It's a small knife for the money, but it is damascus.
