Review of: Hook Self Defense Cane
I bought this for my husband, at his request. Although he’s almost 71, he does not yet need any help walking. Rather, he chose this as an off the radar self defense device. He loves it and carries it everywhere. He gets self defense tips on using his cane from videos on YouTube.
He searched the net on how to measure the length he needed and trimmed his to the recommended 35’. The rubber toe is screwed on, so he had to drill a new hole for the shortened cane. BTW, the screw is sunken within the toe, so it cannot scratch the floor, etc.
After some use, he felt the cane was still uncomfortable long. Checking his net sites again, one of them warned to include the thickness of the toe in adjusting the length.. My husband says he’ll get around to that soon.
Bill is so happy with his cane, he has endorsed it on both his Twitter and Parler accounts. His counters on those posts show there was a significant number of readers who opened up the Atlanta Cutlery site for this product. Maybe that why their stocks are down to two canes at this writing!
Bill’s advice is to get them while you can!

Review of: Walkabout Walking Stick
I received the Walkabout, and it was everything as described in the ad. At 6'1" the height was fine, construction great, but the issue was the round knob and its size. Even with larger hands, I had difficulty holding onto the knob. It was just large enough not to get a good feel, and it was smooth enough to make it hard to hold a grip. Picking up the stick to move it proved unwieldy. I only, however, tested it in the house, so as to not damage it in case I wanted to return it or resale it, so I didn't give it a thorough workout. I figured I knew enough about the cane already. Roy M.

This cane is really cool. Classy. But at the same time it does demand a certain degree of respect. I'm a big guy, and have never really felt like I couldn't take care of myself if I needed to. However when you're walking around with this piece, it does add a little more confidence.

Review of: On Her Majesty's Service Walking Cane
I'm 77. I walk with a cane daily. This one is so gorgeous and unusual, it will be for special occasions only. Extremely well made. Order processing and delivery were easy. The packing was genuinely serious to protect a valuable collectable. Thank you, so much.

Review of: Fisted Spike Cane
Another great cane from Windlass. The fist itself is heavy, and would do a good job as a mace type weapon if needed, but pull the handle and you have a nice 3 sided spike in your hand. This cane uses friction retention to keep the sword in the shaft, and seems to be a tight fit. There is not an obvious joint where the handle and shaft meet, which makes it more of a covert self defense cane in my book. Over all, a great cane for the price.

Review of: Gambler’s Sword Cane
The quality of this sword cane is a lot better than I expected. The friction retention is much better than the Windlass push button lock mechanism they employ on their other canes. The blade is very pointy, will do the job if needed. The detail on the blade and handle is superb and elegant. The only issues I have, and only minor issues, the hidden dice rattle a bit, but placing something inside with the dice can remedy that, and the cane is heavy. The blade and handle are heavy, but that doesn't bother me much, but some it might. Overall, I think this cane is incredible!
