German U–Boat Officer Leather Jacket

This is my second review of this jacket.
I bought it last February and it's become my favorite cold weather jacket. I have a half dozen black leather jackets that I regularly wear, but I were this one more than all the others combined.
I have a black leather Pork Pie hat that dresses it up and a black leather slouch cap that dresses it down.
Very stylish.

According to the other reviewers and my personal experience, the sizes run small, so order the next larger size than you normally wear.

I am 5'10" and weigh 175#. Normally I wear a large (42 or 44 sport jacket). After reading his review, I ordered a XL. It came today and the fit is ideal.
It's not too big to wear with just a shirt, but big enough to wear with a heavy sweater.
Even if Brion G paid back and forth shipping for the next larger size, he would still have a good deal. I feel I got a very good deal because of the previous reviews I was able to order my correct size. This jacket would sell for at least 50% more in the mall stores.
Perhaps folks in Pakistan where the jacket is made are smaller in stature.

This is a very well made quality leather jacket that would sell for much more at a name brand store.  This jacket is ostensibly a leather Navy Pea Coat. Although the sizing data used by the manufacturer is questionable, that fact alone does not warrant, in my opinion, a reduction from a five star rating.  To assist future customers in selecting the correct size I provide the following information:  I am 5' 8" tall, weigh 170 lbs, with a 42" chest and 33" waist, and I purchased a large jacket.  The large jacket fits just right. I can also wear my favorite Irish sweater under the jacket.  It is snug fit with the sweater, but it is still comfortable.  By comparison, in the Army I wore medium-regular uniform, and field Jacket.  So, my recommendation is,  if you are 43" or 44" in the chest, and over 34" in the waist,  you most likely would want the x-large.  Also, if you wore a large uniform in the military, you want to purchase the x-large jacket.  I have been wearing this jacket now for a week and I have received five compliments on how good the jacket looks.  Needless to say, I am very pleased with this jacket.

Great Quality but the Large size is NOT a US Large I need an XL but am not willing to pay the back and forth shipping. so I keep a jacket that is uncomfortable to wear.

I had to return my original order because the coat was too small. I just received the next larger size which will probably be ok but still a bit on the small side. I really think you should upgrade your sizing chart for this item. What you say is Large does not correspond with other vendors like L.L. Bean, Duluth Trading, etc. say is Large. Their Large fits just fine.
The coat itself appears very well made and I am sure I will enjoy it. I just have not had time to use it.
