California Gold Rush Tokens Replica Set

These tiny tokens were issued by private concerns during California’s gold rush era and used as currency. These replicas are made of metal plated with 24k gold. These coins are tiny, measuring only 1/2” in diameter! The originals were minted entirely in gold (hence the small size), and referred to as “ingots” if the value of the gold matched the denominational value struck on the token. Set includes 3 round and 3 octagonal tokens, and feature Native American heads and bears. Shipped in a plastic, clear topped container that can be used to display these tiny nuggets of history.
