French Foreign Legion Bush Hat

The famous, and very hard to find, Chapeau de Brousse Mle-49 was used by the French Foreign Legion during their conflicts in Vietnam and Algerian theaters of operation. This is new production made to the same specs and materials as the originals.

Faithfully made with heavy khaki cotton with traditional batting in the brim, 2 grommets on each side with a brim snap on one side. It's durable to the standards of the Legion! You’ll love this hat on the farm, camping, travelling etc. We like it because it’s truly a bush hat that looks "hard core’ adventurer" and not commercial traveler... the type you’d wear all year round in Panama or Alaska!
