These are original, American made, US issue bayonet blades from the Vietnam War. Made by Mil-Par in Ohio, they are from a US military contract overrun. They have never been used; they’ve been in storage for over 40 years. As a result there is surface rust, a dark patina and some minor pitting on all the blades, but all are serviceable. Great as historical curiosities, they can be used to complete a period correct bayonet if you have parts or are valuable for re-purposing into sturdy custom knives with an amazing backstory. Limited quantity.
The M-7 Bayonet Blade is for the M-16 rifle which is the standard issue rifle in the US Armed Forces today. Made of 1095 high carbon steel.
