Developed in 1855, this rapid fire rifle was a revolutionary improvement over muzzle-loaders and single-shot breechloaders of the day, and was used throughout the Civil War. Original examples are now very rare and appropriately expensive. This non-firing replica has the heft and feel of the originals and even has a working trigger, sidehammer, and rotating cylinder (cannot be made to fire). Real wood shoulder and forestocks.
