OVERVIEW

Sold Out
The Three Band Enfield was imported extensively for use in the U. S. Civil War. These Gurkha made examples were found in Military Storage in their homeland of Nepal. These particular Enfield Rifles are offered in half rifles or parts guns. Each rifle is offered totally as found, incomplete, broken, un-cleaned and un-refurbished. Totally covered and caked with dried on grease, dirt and rust, they can be used for parts, rebuilt or displayed as found. No guarantees as to what use or damage may be found after more than 100 years of neglect and storage.

Each gun will feature:

The barrel, lock plate, hammer and 2 barrel bands. There is no guarantee for any other parts.

Condition: usually show rust & pitting and be covered in dirt as originally stored.  All sales are final, so please do not order this if you are not prepared to receive an incomplete, broken parts gun with various missing parts.

Note: These guns were manufactured before 1898 and are therefore legally considered antiques. It is totally legal to own these without a U.S. Federal Firearms License (FFL) and they can be shipped to most countries around the world.

Biggest waste of money I have ever seen.  Believe them when they say to be "prepared to receive a .... broken parts gun...."  Almost every part will be broken or unusable!

The interesting side of his purchase is that the lock is a very good example of a rushed to assembly piece of junk by knock off artists.  I pity the poor soldier who carried this weapon.

This at least gives it some value as a conversation piece.  I can not use one part as a backup to my good P-1853 as I had hoped.

Shipper "forgot" to add to package, once contacted, they shipped it out.  wish they hadn't!  not one single usable part on the entire parts gun.  even barrel bands rusted through!  barrel had splits and rust outs.  even the screws were bent.  total waste of $99.

The description is a very honest one but still in its broken, neglected condition this is still a very interesting piece and a piece of history. Oh if it could talk, imagine the stories it could tell. Mine has some rust, all 3 bands and the lock is still functional. Planning to clean it up a bit more and see what I have to work with.

Was a waste of a 100.00$ was able to use about 20.00$ of parts off the one I got. Barrel rusted through, barrel bands rusted almost through, ram rod rusted in half, all screws rust in half or broken, lock frozen, trigger guard broken in half. Good parts trigger assembly, brass nose cap! Looked like it was under water for some time. Save your money   and buy one already rebuilt by AC.

They were right, don't expect more than description says, as you may not get what's pictured. But they were HONEST about what you may get. And I got bare bones. barrel, lock and two bands. 12" inch peice of forearm from middle. Nothing else! Lock mainspring broken, as other internal parts. barrel okay and did have rear sight. The Reviews can be misleading as what others recieved and what you may get! so go by there DESCRIPTION and not picture or reviews. I did order after this a complete Brunswick officers musket and I was completely happy with it.

The P-53 partsrifle just arrived. While rusty and dirty as charged, the lock was in excellent condition and the barrel will most likely clean up for my purposes. With the nose cap and the rearsight, I'd say I got my money's worth. Thanks again AC

I received my parts and I was happy with the item. For $99 I was not expecting much. It was in better condition than I expected.

Got mine and have started work on it. What was left of the stock was toast- worm eaten and dry rot. Lock seem to be cleaning up OK and as good as identical lock I bought from the "other" Nepal cache dealer at nearly same price just for lock.  Barrel is rusted and will be wall hangar. Ramrod is nearly rusted through. Trigger is OK condition and usable.  Good value for the money.
