OVERVIEW

Cold Steel's Samburu spear is one of the most advanced throwing spears available. The 7' long spear can be used for long-range, flies straight, and has a flat projectory. Comprised of 3 pieces, the spearhead is welded to a steel shaft. The "shoe" acts as a balancing butt spike and can be used as an alternate point for practice throwing. This preserves the actual spear blade itself for more serious work. The double tapered hickory handle connects the head and shoe.

This arrives unassembled for ease of transportation. All you have to do is fit the blade and butt spike tightly to the handle and attach them with the provided retaining screws. Includes Secure-Ex Sheath.

NOTE: The Samburu spears are tough, but if you bend your spear shaft or “shoe” (butt spike), it can be easily straightened in a vise. The tough hickory handle of your spear can eventually break, so please be prepared to replace it.
