OVERVIEW
This Ulu has a grip and stand of Native Alaskan Moose antler and is a showy addition to your kitchen wares. Native Alaskan tribes have utilized the Ulu for hundreds of years to cut hair, butcher meat, and trim ice blocks for igloo construction. The traditional grip was crafted from walrus tusk, indigenous horn, or antler.
This version has a 440 stainless steel blade with a mirror finish. Both the handle and stand are made from shed moose antler. Ulus are great in the kitchen for chopping herbs, onions, vegetables, cheeses, and meats. Made by B. Merry.
Note: Since antler is a natural material, the color, grain, and texture may vary from the one pictured. The handle measurements can also vary slightly.
- Blade: 5-3/4" wide
