USMC Sword Knot

Historically, sword knots were simple cords attached to the hilt of one's sword. Used by mounted soldiers, they would loop the cord around their wrist to prevent loss of the sword in heated situations. This traditional leather sword knot reflects that heritage while offering both function and classic military style.

These have evolved into more of an ornamental piece of the uniform. Our black leather sword knot has a braided loop with a leather slide, and is made to the USMC's exact specifications.
