Great quality web carrier. The buckles and all hardware (except for sling loops) appear to be brass. Fits Enfield No. 1 Mk.III rifles well, even the long butt-stock versions.
Extra pocket to hold firing pin take down tool and spare firing pin in a tube. Or as advertised a cleaning kit. No date markings, which is good for me. Since it came with no strap, I added a reproduction Enfield khaki sling that bears the M.E. Co. 1913 stamp on the brass buckles. It matches perfectly and really makes this carrier suit me well.
You can also find reproduction slings dated for WW2 easily and the cost is cheap. I do recommend this item.
