OVERVIEW

A hand made, exceptional friction folder with genuine buffalo horn scales. Friction folders have been gaining popularity over the years for their unique style, simplicity and function. The tang of the hand forged blade extends into a paddle/flipper that you use to flip the blade open. Simply keep your thumb on the hand forged tang extension to keep the knife from closing. In addition the pivot is made tight to keep the blade from closing quickly on your fingers.
And you will want your fingers away from this edge! The hand forged Austrian DNH7 steel blade is differentially hardened (like Samurai swords) and provided exceedingly sharp. The flat part of the blade is left unground to show off the forging marks to emphasize the hand craftsmanship of this unique folding knife. A padded nylon storage case with Citadel logo is included.
