This is far more than I expected. I purchased it with the factory edge. Ran a Bill Bagwell edge. Very satisfied with not just the product but with ACC's customer service as well. Sharpened the clip and ran a radius on the tip. Handles very well. Balanced. Nice speed! Buy one while they are still available.

I like the simplicity of this design  The sheath is nothing to write home about.  I would like to see Windlass make a spear point bowie of this size with a stag(or jigged bone)handle like the original Rio Grande Camp Knife.

I compare the dimensions to the Cold Steel Laredo Bowie. The blade on this knife is about 3/4" longer than the Laredo. It weighs less than the Laredo. The handle on the Laredo is longer and has a nicer finish.
The Laredo fits my hand better.

The swedge can be sharpened to half the length of the blade. I just sharpened the few inches on the clip point. The sheath leaves much to be desired when compared to the sheath on the Laredo. I am satisfied with this bowie for what it is and what I paid for.

Warning: It appears that this same knife is sold on Ebay for $30. Don't be fooled, it is not the same knife as Windlass Steecrafts. There are many knock offs of Windlass Steelcraft knives on Ebay. All of those are junk that will break after a little use.
