Solid. Heavy. Feels like one piece of metal.
In theory: the knuckle grip would hurt someone. Also offers some protection to the holder's hand. Base of knife has a heavy, pointed end that would damage to a skull.
Blade came sharp and well-oiled. As far as price goes, you wont do better for satisfactory self-defense.
