Not worth the money.
While the blade is not sharp and a little thick, it seems to be well finished.

The big problem with my example is the handle. The 'pommel' ball is uneven and a little off-center.
The rings cut to form the grip are not well defined, very shallow. In fact, they are missing on 1/4 of the grip and the surface is smooth.

Not worth $70, not even $40. Maybe $20 would be appropriate.

This is a good reproduction of an "old school" dagger that looks like it may have been designed in the 1800's. It is a cool looking dagger with the wooden grip pinned to the almost full length tang. The grip is one piece of wood tightly fitted to the tang and there is no movement of the
grip if you try to turn it. The sheath is solidly made with rivets(no sewn seams!) and a brass stud on the retention strap which should never fail. The only complaint I have with the sheath is that the retention strap and a row of rivets near the opening into the sheath make it more difficult to sheath and unsheath the knife. This was probably a design flaw with the original sheath design by the Dutch. With use this problem may go away
Overall this is a great knife.

Better than expected! I was pleasantly surprised by this. Quality made and priced low enough to buy two.  I couldn't afford a real one even if I could find one. This is a good alternative
Great item.

Only a so so reproduction. FYI, the knife does not go all the way to the end of the handle, though it looks like it. That is a wood plug. From my magnet test, it appears the tang of the blade is nearly the length of the handle, but I have no way of knowing, apart from taking the handle off, how wide the tang actually is. The whole knife is pretty light. Came ok sharp, but not the full length of the blade. The scabbard is decent, but the tip is not metal like the originals I have seen. It appears to be plastic. Blade is a tad off crooked in the handle. All in all, not bad, but not great.

The original is finished in temper blued steel. Other than that, looks good, and a lot cheaper to buy than an original. I hope this lives up to the previous reviews and it is a good repro..
