Sold out! Named for General William T. Sherman, who was arguably the best Union General during the American Civil War, the Sherman was the most widely used tank by the Allies during WWII. The chassis was based on the earlier “Grant” and “Lee” tanks that served the Allies in North Africa before replaced by the Sherman. Widely respected for its reliability, speed, maneuverability and it was available in large numbers (over 40,000 were produced). It was still in limited service with countries like Israel for many years after WWII. Our all metal replica represents one of the most produced models of the Sherman used in WWII. Nicely painted and detailed with a turret that rotates.
