OVERVIEW

Our black leather sword knots have a braided loop with a leather slide, and are made to the USMC's exact specifications.
 

Historically, sword knots were simple cords attached to the hilt of one's sword. Used by mounted soldiers, they would loop the cord around their wrist to prevent loss of the sword in heated situations.

These have evolved into more of an ornamental piece of the uniform. Our black leather sword knots have a braided loop with a leather slide, and are made to the USMC's exact specifications.
