This knife has one of the most cleverly engineered handles in history. Although this knife design was marketed in Germany as a “Paratrooper’s Knife” shortly after WWII, there’s no evidence it was actually issued to the military. The two halves of the handle conceal the blade, much like a butterfly knife, but a pantograph linkage entertainingly keeps them connected when opening and closing.
The design is a perfect representation of the Mason’s Guild symbol since the parts resemble a square and compass.
It has a two-tone finish stainless blade with a black and silver aluminum handle. The handle opens to reveal a ruler.
