It says this knife is assisted opening; it is not. It was very tight, in fact, until I loosened the screw a little bit.
It has a thumb stud, but that doesn't make it "assisted opening".
The blade(5 star) is -very- nice, the handle(1 star) is cheap, so it averages out to a 3 star.
Overall, a decent knife.
