These original 3rd model "India Pattern" Brown Bess muskets were converted to percussion and reissued as the P-1839. The lock markings show the honorable East India company rampant lion adopted in 1808. Complete with brass furniture and standard three ramrod pipes. Also included is the correct steel "button head" ramrod.
This was the model that saw service throughout the Napoleonic Wars. Rare, because thousands were lost in the Great Fire of the Tower of London in 1841. This is an opportunity to own a very scarce genuine muzzle loading military musket from the early 1800s.
There is a $10.00 additional shipping & handling charge with item.
