Springfield Civil War Socket Bayonet

Attached to a rifle, this bayonet gave close quarters weapons an extra long reach. Designed for Springfield .58 caliber rifle, it has an integral frog and includes a brass mounted leather scabbard. Made by Windlass Steelcrafts from mild steel. Please note: Issues with a replica bayonet not fitting the rifle is not uncommon and sometimes revisions must be made. This is due to the manufacturing of both the original rifle as well as the replica bayonet because they were not made by the same manufacturer.
