An eagle looking to the left decorates the top. The design is embossed on both sides of this distinctive brass flask with rings on each side for attaching a strap. Features a .58 grain non-adjustable spout. A great accessory for the Mississippi, Zouave or .58 Cal. Civil War era.

Beautiful flask and the flask head works as it should. Some for sale do not! I was surprised that the staples for the suspension rings do not appear to be soldered in place. Perhaps secured with some space age resin. I would recommend to anyone wanting a good serviceable flask.
