This US Civil War era powder flask is sometimes called the “Peace Flask” due to the clasped hands inside the circle of 26 stars over the “US” shield. An eagle looking to the left decorates the top. The design is embossed on both sides of this distinctive brass flask with rings on each side for attaching a strap. Features a .58 grain non-adjustable spout. A great accessory for the Mississippi, Zouave or .58 Cal. Civil War era.
