Collins Company located in Connecticut, was considered by many to be the best and most famous manufacturer of machetes in the world. We have reproduced one of their many models used by our troops in the Pacific during WWII. Its heavy-duty construction is ready and able to attack the toughest foliage or whatever might be found in a combat zone. The full tang blade is made from 3/16" thick properly heat-treated high carbon steel. Scales are made from close grained hardwood and attached to the tang with 4 steel pins. Comes with top grain leather sheath that fits belts up to 2-3/4" wide. Made by Windlass Steelcrafts®.
