This Windlass hand axe features many traits common to the Norse hatchets we've come to love through the years. The solid, one-piece forged head is strong X46Cr13 high-grade stainless steel. 52 RC. The comfortably contoured handle is teak and it's capped with a handsome genuine bone butt cap. Even better are the Norse engravings unique to our axe that are deeply etched on both sides of the handle, and on the bone end cap is a depiction of Thor's mighty hammer, Mjolnir. Includes leather belt sheath. Handy in size and gorgeous on display. 10" overall, 2-1/2"ax face. Comes in a faux fur lined box.
