Popular during the Civil War, the 1859 Sharps Military Rifle was seen as an upgrade from the musket and used by both Union and Confederate troops. Issued to and preferred by snipers as its velocity made it more accurate, it is still one of the most popular styles featured in Old West shows today. This non firing replicas features a genuine hardwood stock and metal parts. Many of the parts function on this extremely realistic replica.
