OVERVIEW
Relive “The Great War” with our superb S 98/05 “Butcher Blade” bayonet reproduction. Introduced in 1915 by the Imperial German Army for use with GEW 98 Rifle (also fits K98 and most 98 Mauser clones including Yugo Mausers). Used by Reichswehr between the Wars and by many German police departments (rifles were standard police issue). Remained in limited service through WWII.
Made from high carbon steel in natural finish, oil finished wood grips with a steel scabbard. Includes frog. Made by Windlass Steelcrafts.
Standard finish also available.

Fearsome Beast
This bayonet in the white is beautiful to behold, unless you are unlucky enough to be on the receiving end. It would make a very nice dress bayonet for parade, or an impressive circular wall display using 12 bayonets. Mine fit my Russian Capture and my Yugo K89's right out of the box.

Solid knife for actual use after sharpening , but a crap replica bayonet since it won't attach to gew98 and k98 even with some file work,and the press button is about twice as high as the original.

This natural finish bayonet does not fit the bayonet lugs on either of my Mausers. The blued version which I purchased several years ago does fit both. I will have to try some file work to see if I can correct the fit problem.
