This M16®-14ZSF model features their super rigid InterFrame build with 420J2 stainless steel liners, threaded stainless steel back spacers, and Desert Camo pattern glass-reinforced nylon scales. The blade is a non-reflective bead-blast finished AUS 8 stainless steel. It blends and almost disappears in the desert.
Features two integral Carson Flippers, resulting in a true hilt/guard when the blade is opened. This Big Dog glass-reinforced nylon version has a 3.875" (98 mm) blade and a full-size handle with a pommel which is exceptionally powerful in tactical situations.
It also features the Mi6 line’s automated liner safety. Automated liner safety is the locking liner safety innovation taken to the next level. The automated liner safety sets a pin between the locking liner and the frame. This pin acts as an additional layer of safety, so the locking liner is less likely to disengage during use. One-hand opening and closing is quick and smooth, the result of precision tolerances and lubricity washers at the blade pivot.
