OVERVIEW

You too can own this knob sword cane supplied by Atlanta Cutlery for the Blockbuster film Batman Begins. Carried by Henri Ducard (Ra's Al Ghul), it was not altered from our original at all. An update of the "swordstick" as the English were so fond of calling it, the elegant style that reflects your finer tastes. Materials specifically selected to offer a unique, balanced walking (and if the time comes, self-defense) experience. Spring, button-lock mechanism secures the blade safely and ensures quick retrieval should the need arise – better than friction locks that wear quickly and twist locks that waste valuable time. This is a dependable, real sword cane that will last. Exceptional quality and value in a walking companion.

This cane features something rarely seen in a sword cane - a full-length rapier blade. This premium quality cane's grip and pommel head are solid aluminum and balance the blade nicely. The shaft is seamless aluminum, much more durable than wood or plastic which is used on most other canes. Non-slip rubber tip, fully tempered, high carbon steel blade. The Knob Cane is your great chance to own a fantastic, real sword-cane and accurate movie prop.

Keep your distance
An article no gentleman should be without. In yesteryears language, it looks swell.

A well-made item, although not sharpened.
A well-made piece, generally, but a little 'play' (1/8 inch) in the open/close mechanism.   Wish it had come sharpened!

Nice Blade...but...
...has a great point, but the edge of this sword cane is blunt, so slicing simply isn't possible. Additionally, you CANNOT USE THIS AS A CLUB as the latch won't hold...and you'll launch the sword into the distance if you do. OTH, once you draw the sword, you can use the aluminum scabbard/cane in your off-hand as a club. I'm deeply disappointed that sharpening isn't offered on this item when I purchased it from Museum Replicas. Nor can I find anyone who has the ability of sharpening it.

Good after-sale support.
This is mostly a comment on Atlanta Cutlery's customer service, rather than the cane itself. When I got it, the button that released the sword from the cane didn't work well (you could tell it had been tweaked to work by grinding on it, which made it worse), and eventually jammed completely. I didn't get around to contacting AC until months after the purchase, but customer service said to return it to the repair department. It was re-worked and returned within a week. (Did cost me to ship it to them)
Since it was made by Windlass, which is the same company as AC, the quality control should have been better in the first place, but good on them for setting it right.

Four stars
Pretty much exactly what it’s marketed as. The blades a little floppy and Unsharpened but the second one is fixable. Overall pretty satisfied. Shipping was fast.

Solid cane and sword.
Very solid, well made sword cane. Impressive looking and a bit on the heavy side but a great piece to be used mainly as a prop for a costume. Very happy.

I have several sword canes, some bought new, some used...this one is much more than I expected for the price. It has heft and a solid feel when blade is locked in, and could be used for defence as is, without presenting the blade. The blade is as advertised with no edge but with sharp tip. With a little sharpening work it could become an attackers worst nightmare. I plan to purchase other items from this company based on quality, ease of ordering and fast delivery. On line business doesn't get any better than this company.

Not perfect.  The release mechanism must sometimes need adjustment, and can even then move.

Bought 2, one was run over by a truck, the other the release mechanism broke, the little round stud disappeared, and the blade is now held by friction well enough.  So I buy a 3rd, as I am crippled, need a cane, and will not be without a weapon.

A VERY good sword cane, well balanced, with quite the functional head-bopper.  Were it not for the fact that the release mechanism will require adjustment, sometimes several times, I'd give this a 5 star.

Well balanced, quick, impresses the ignorant.  So, now a spare.

Relatively well made, but not particularly useful for inconspicuous defense. It is easily identifiable as a sword cane and the blade is beyond "butter knife" dull. If it were available with the blade sharpened from the tip to approximately 9" down, it would be more useful.

A Very nice High Quality product!!
I do not hesitate to take it with me when I feel the need for a Self Defense option of a Low Key appearance.
Fit and Finish are Superb!!
