This sling features a WWI pattern with brass fittings and dates. WWI slings with were issued with early production M1 Garands and WWII issue Springfields can use either sling (WWII pattern with steel hardware #803134). Also issued with 1917 Enfields. This style sling is still used today in modified form by high-power rifle competition shooters.  Made by Windlass Steelcrafts.

A little thin but, it works. Use it on my M-1  and it has not stretched out too much for being so thin.
