OVERVIEW

This non-firing replica of the 1869 First Model American Army revolver has the original's single-action mechanism and top break loading mechanism. Shiny nickel-silver finish. This gun has a great association with the Cowboy era of the American West.

The 1869 First Model American Army revolver had a hinged frame that opened to reveal the end of the cylinder and an automatic ejection system for faster reloading of the newly developed metallic cartridges. This frontier classic was a favorite of the U.S. Cavalry, stagecoach agents, and Frank James. Wyatt Earp is said to have carried a similar version of the historic replica.

This non-firing replica has the original's single-action mechanism and top break loading mechanism. Authentic nickel-silver finish.
