OVERVIEW
We've been quite taken with this deep sea, hard hat divers knife for some time and recently had the chance to acquire a near perfect original. These were used up to Vietnam by UDT and SEALS - it's a real deep sea treasure. We've constructed our replica to match the original in every way from original spec materials of high carbon steel, wood and brass to construction method, right down to the fit and finish.
This is a real beauty and ideal for any collector of military or maritime items. Includes brass sheath and leather strap as many were originally issued. Made by Windlass Steelcrafts.

Overall, I am quite happy with the divers' knife. It is a close reproduction of the knives used 50 years ago by commercial hard-hat divers - with two exceptions: The brass sheath was artificially colored. Original knives would have been highly polished or left to tarnish by their users. The knife edge came unsharpened - actually purposely dulled.

This knife was ONLY used by hardhat divers. This knife was NEVER used by Underwater Demolition Teams (UDT) or SEALs. Please correct your write-up.
