OVERVIEW

It was during a sparring session that Cold Steel began to customize and improvise with their owners most favored swords - the 1904 Austrian Saber and the 1917 Cutlass.  The hybrid provides almost unparalleled hand protection with minimal bulk, an excellent tool for fighting on foot, lightweight, maneuverable but still more than capable of opposing bigger weapons.

Features a short, stiff, razor sharp and beautifully blued 1055 carbon blade which is both fast and fluid in the hand. It''s perfectly designed guard has a sturdy reinforced rolled edge for added strength and hand protection while still being small enough to lie comfortably at your side without ever being cumbersome or unwieldy.  The Hybrid Cutlass is able to catch, parry, block and oppose even far larger and heavier weapons while being sharp and nimble enough to dominate almost any engagement.  Includes leather scabbard w/ brass and copper fittings.  Hardwood grip.

The Brute & Brawler
This CS cutlass isn't a wall hanger or made for ballot style fencing, it's made to brawl. The timid and those not physically strong enough to wield this blade should not consider buying it. It's well made, solid and durable. It's designed and built to survive.

I own MANY Cold Steel weapons, and I have to say that this is the first I wouldn't recommend.  I was expecting a blade that is "Light weight and maneuverable," and this is not an agile weapon.  Though it seems extremely well made, the edge is no where near "razor sharp."
