Sold out!Indian Dags and similar knives were highly desired as trade goods on the western frontier of America. The people that hunted for most of their food and raw materials found the steel knife far superior to their early flint or bone knives. After acquiring these knives from the Europeans, tribes would fashion their own leather scabbards, sometimes embellishing them with elaborate beadwork.
This double edged knife has a 420 J2 stainless steel blade and a full profile tang. The scales are hardwood, and decorated with structural pins that pass through the tang and small tacks. The fancy scabbard is finished off with thick cowhide covered in soft suede with fringe and handsome beadwork. This Indian Dag is a great addition to any collection of knives. Beading may vary.
Please note: This is not an authentic Indian made product.
