Named after Laguiole, France, where this elegant folding knife pattern originated almost 200 years ago, this slender knife was created to be an everyday workhorse, but the jimped blade spine and fancy backspring would be right at home on a Royals dinner table. The backspring features Napoleon's favorite symbol, the Honeybee. Mirror finish stainless blade, brown hardwood handle, and stainless bolsters. NOTE: This is a slip joint knife with no locking mechanism. The back spring is stiff and the knife is difficult to close by design.
