This P-1837 Sword Bayonet is a Colonial issue brass hilted bayonet with knuckle guard.  Sorry, no scabbards available.

This is a follow up to my posting of 11/1/10 concerning the hand-select 1837 Brunswick musket.  The accompanying bayonet cleaned up very well and looks very nice -- slightly bent, some discoloration, and only a little shallow pitting on blade.   It took a great deal of time however in filing the slot in handle to fit the lug on the barrel.  It appears the slot had become deformed and needed to be opened up.
